This review collected studies on the anti-inflammatory effects of omega-3 fatty acids, which are found primarily in fish oil. Animal and human studies have shown that dietary fish oil consumption suppresses pro-inflammatory factors and is beneficial in rheumatoid arthritis and asthma.
