Ascorbic acid induces apoptosis in adult T-cell leukemia

This study evaluated the effects of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) against leukemia. The experiments showed that vitamin C reduced the growth of leukemia cells and it was concluded that vitamin C is effective against leukemia. Further details can be found in the study.
