Vitamins C, D3 and B12 relieve side effects of chemotherapy

Characterization of vitamin-cisplatin-loaded chitosan nano-particles for chemoprevention and cancer fatigue

This study of cells and tissues dealt with the positive effect of vitamins on chemotherapy-related fatigue, and the question of whether the vitamins have an impact on the effectiveness of chemotherapy. For this purpose the authors used nanoparticles (particles ranging in size from about 1 nm to 100 nm) of vitamins D3 and B12, and tested their interaction with cisplatin, a chemotherapeutic drug. It was found that the vitamins are able to alleviate fatigue during chemotherapy. Further details can be found in the study.
