Plasma omega-3 fatty acids and incident diabetes in older adults

The present study examined the relation between omega-3 fatty acids and diabetes in 3088 men and women with an average age of 75 years. The results showed that individuals with the highest blood concentrations of omega-3 fatty acids had a lower risk of diabetes. Further details can be found in the study.
