Vitamin D and incidence of diabetes: A prospective cohort study

This study investigated the relationship between vitamin D and the incidence of type 2 diabetes. 961 patients were followed over a period of 11 years. The results showed a significantly reduced risk for diabetes in people with higher vitamin D levels. Further details can be found in the study.
