Micronutrients reduce the risk of hip fracture

Association of hip fracture incidence and intake of calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, and vitamin K.

This study analyzed the association between hip fractures and the intake of micronutrients such as calcium, magnesium, vitamin D and vitamin K. A survey provided data from both men and women. The results showed that an increased micronutrient intake is associated with a reduced risk of hip fracture.
