Summary

This study investigated the anti-inflammatory effects of quercetin. In animal models, quercetin treatment was found to reduce the protein HMGB1, a pro-inflammatory factor stimulated during endotoxemia (presence of bacterial toxins in the blood). The results showed that quercetin attenuates inflammation caused by endotoxemia. Further details can be found in the study.
