Summary

This study examined the beneficial effects of resveratrol on diabetes-induced kidney disease (diabetic nephropathy). Diabetic rats were treated with or without resveratrol at 0.75mg/kg body weight 3 times a day for 8 weeks. The results revealed that resveratrol ameliorates changes associated with early diabetic nephropathy. Further details can be found in the study.
