Summary

This study determined if vitamin E, the drug memantine, or a combination of both slow the progression of Alzheimer´s disease. 613 patients affected by Alzheimer´s disease received either vitamin E, memantine, vitamin E and memantine combined, or a placebo. It was discovered that vitamin E administration led to a slower progression of the disease. More details can be found in the study.
