Vitamin supplementation helps to fight liver disease

Prevalence of vitamin K and vitamin D deficiency in patients with hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders.

This study evaluated vitamin K and vitamin D concentrations in patients with liver disorders. Data from 90 patients was analyzed. The results revealed that vitamin K and vitamin D deficiencies are common in these patients, thus indicating the need for an appropriate supplementation. Further details can be found in the study.
