Summary
Oxidative stress plays a significant role in the development of migraine. Antioxidant micronutrients have therefore been used in migraine treatment and prevention. This review, conducted by three Polish research departments, summarizes studies on micronutrients with antioxidative properties, including vitamin C, curcumin, and coenzyme Q10. The review indicates that several antioxidant micronutrients are a valuable alternative to conventional migraine medication. More details can be found in the study.
