Summary

This study examined the association between omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acid intake in the risk of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Based on an analysis of over 1 million patients who had taken part in 5 other studies, the researchers concluded that consumption of foods high in omega-3 fatty acids may help prevent or delay the onset of ALS.

Further details can be found in the study.
