Summary

This study determined the effect of fish oil supplementation among children with leukemia. 51 children were allocated into 2 groups and given either fish oil supplementation or no treatment. Compared with children who did not receive any supplementation, children who consumed fish oil had significant positive effects on appetite, caloric intake, and upper arm muscle circumference.
