Summary

This article evaluated studies on the effects of vitamin A on cervical cancer (cancer of the uterus). Studies on dietary vitamin A and blood levels of vitamin A were performed on a total of 12,136 participants. The results showed that higher intakes and blood levels of vitamin A were associated with a reduced risk of cervical cancer. More details can be found in the study.
