Blood levels of vitamins A and E were measured in 289 women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (early stage of the tumor) and early invasive cervical cancer. The results showed that these patients had significantly low blood levels of vitamins A and E and were more susceptible to tumor development. More details can be found in the study.
