Summary

In this study, the effect of a micronutrient combination containing lysine, proline, arginine, ascorbic acid and epigallocatechin gallate was tested on human prostate cancer cells. The study results show that the micronutrients effectively inhibited the growth and proliferation of cancer cells. Furthermore, the production of collagen-digesting enzymes – via which the cancer cells move through connective tissue to other organs – was blocked. The authors conclude that the administration of micronutrients is an effective measure for the natural treatment of prostate cancer. Further details can be found in the study.
