Summary

This study investigated the effect of a specific micronutrient combination on insulin levels in patients with cardiac arrhythmias. This study aimed to improve the function of the left ventricle with the help of the selected micronutrients. For 6 weeks, 30 subjects with cardiac arrhythmias took twice daily 2 tablets with 145.8 mg magnesium, 469.2 mg potassium, 3.0 µg vitamin B12, 400.0 µg folic acid, 48.0 mg niacin, and 60.0 mg coenzyme Q10. Results showed a significant decrease in fasting insulin and improved left ventricular and atrial functions. Further details can be found in the study.
