This research collected studies on the use of dietary supplements in the management of high blood pressure and diabetes. The studies showed that micronutrients were effective and safe substitutes for toxic and expensive conventional drugs. Moreover, it turned out that micronutrients are generally free from side effects. The authors therefore concluded that dietary supplements should be incorporated into the treatment of high blood pressure and diabetes. More details can be found in the study.
