Summary

This study focused on the effects of a combination of specific micronutrients, including vitamin C, on COVID-19 infections. It was shown that this micronutrient combination can decrease the expression of ACE2 receptors used by the COVID-19 virus to enter the cells and block the potential interaction of the virus and the ACE2 receptors. According to this study, the combination of several micronutrients can prevent corona infections and could be an effective and safe strategy to combat COVID-19 diseases.
