Summary

In this study, the relationship between the intake of micronutrients during pregnancy and the risk of the occurrence of cerebellar tumors (medulloblastoma) or nervous tissue tumors (neuroectodermal tumors) were examined. Over a period of six years 315 patients with tumors and 315 control cases were examined. The study results confirmed the protective effect of vitamin C and other micronutrients in reducing the risk of brain tumors in infants. Further details can be found in the study.
