Summary

This study by Australian researchers investigated the effects of omega-3 fish oil supplementation on cardiovascular health. 20 young and healthy adults were involved in this study. Participants were divided into either a group receiving an omega-3 supplement or a placebo product. Among others, omega-3 levels and heart rate were measured. The results showed a decreased resting heart rate in participants taking the omega-3 fish oil compared to participants in the control group. These results indicate that omega-3 fish oil has cardiovascular benefits and can prevent coronary heart diseases. More details can be found in the study.
