Summary
This study investigated the effect of zinc administration in the treatment of tinnitus.
Patients with tinnitus were investigated: 28 patients received zinc and 13 patients were given a placebo.
It was concluded that patients with tinnitus can have low blood zinc levels and improvements in tinnitus can be achieved by zinc treatment.
