Summary

The present study explored the protective effects of resveratrol in diabetes-induced kidney disease (diabetic nephropathy) by assessing markers of oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is an imbalance between free radicals production and the body’s antioxidant defenses. The analysis demonstrated the protective nature of resveratrol by attenuating markers of oxidative stress in renal tissues of diabetic rats. Further details can be found in the study.
