Summary

This study evaluated the protective effects of soy compounds (isoflavones) against osteoporosis. Mice were administered either 17beta-estradiol, which is a hormone commonly used in the treatment of osteoporosis, or soy isoflavones. The results suggested that soy isoflavones effectively mitigated osteoporosis. Further details can be found in the study.
