Summary

This study evaluated the potential of curcumin in the treatment of tendinitis. Human cells were used to investigate the mechanism of curcumin action on the pro-inflammatory compound interleukin-1beta (IL-1β). The results demonstrated a potential benefit of curcumin in treating tendon inflammation through suppression of pro-inflammatory factors. Further details can be found in the study.
