Summary

This study evaluated the effects of vitamin B supplementation on dementia, which is a broad category of brain diseases that cause a decline in mental ability. Data from elderly people were analyzed, revealing that B-vitamin supplementation can slow the shrinking of brain regions that are affected by Alzheimer’s disease and that are associated with mental decline.
