Summary

A scientific study, carried out between 1985 and 2002 with 29,133 male smokers in Finland, examined the relationship between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) and the incidence of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It concluded that circulating 25(OH)D may provide a protective effect in the development of non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. Further details can be found in the study.
