Summary
This study evaluated the relationship between vitamin D levels and leukocyte telomere length (LTL), a predictor of the inflammatory status. Vitamin D concentrations were measured in 2160 women and LTL was analyzed by a specific laboratory technique. The results showed that higher vitamin D concentrations were associated with reduced inflammation. Further details can be found in the study.
