Summary
This study assessed the effect of vitamin D in patients with painful diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage). Vitamin D was administered to 143 patients with diabetes and neuropathy. The results showed that treatment with vitamin D is associated with a significant decrease in the symptoms of painful diabetic neuropathy. More details can be found in the study.
