Summary
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of vitamin D supplementation in tuberculosis patients. 67 patients were given either vitamin D or a placebo. The results showed that all patients receiving vitamin D supplementation had “sputum conversion”, which is an analysis indicating that tuberculosis patients are cured.
