Summary

In another randomized and controlled clinical trial, a joint team of researchers from the University Hospitals of Frankfurt and Hanover examined the effects of vitamin D administration on diabetes progression. The results of this clinical study showed that vitamin D supplementation significantly reduced insulin demands and significantly improved long-term blood glucose levels (HbA1c).
