Summary<\/h3>\n

Diabetes is associated with low levels of vitamin B1 (thiamine) in the body. This study aimed to evaluate various involved parameters and vitamin B1 levels in type 1 and type 2 diabetes compared to healthy study participants. In this study, 90 participants were divided into three groups, with each 30 test persons. Group A included healthy subjects; group B included patients with type 1 diabetes, and group C included subjects with type 2 diabetes. The study results revealed that patients with type 2 diabetes had significantly higher mean fasting glucose and long-term glucose (sugar) levels (HbA1c) than those in groups A and B. Additionally, significantly lower vitamin B1 levels were observed in the two groups with diabetic patients compared to healthy participants. More details can be found in the study.<\/p>\n
