Mechanistic aspects of ascorbate inhibition of human immunodeficiency virus.

This study investigated the effect of vitamin C on human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The experiments were performed with cells. The results showed that vitamin C inhibits HIV by interfering with specific enzymes that allow the virus to spread. Further details can be found in the study.
