Summary

This article collects studies on the relationship between carotenoids intake and the risk of esophageal cancer. 10 studies including 1,958 patients with esophageal cancer and 4,529 people without cancer were analyzed. The results suggested that higher intake of carotenoids was associated with lower risk of esophageal cancer. More details can be found in the study.
