Summary
This study from the Dr. Rath Research Institute for Cellular Medicine dealt with the effectiveness of a specific micronutrient combination – containing lysine, proline, arginine, vitamin C and green tea extract – against kidney cancer. The study was carried out with cells and tissues. It was demonstrated that the production of certain collagen digesting enzymes (matrix metalloproteinases, MMP-2 and MMP-9), which enable cancer cells to migrate through the body, was blocked due to the administration of the micronutrient combination. As a result the invasion-like spread of renal cancer cells in the tissue was also stopped.
