Summary

In this study, vitamin and mineral concentrations and several parameters related to immune function were measured in two groups. One group received a vitamin and mineral product daily for 12 weeks; the other group received a placebo. Before and after the intake, vitamin and mineral concentrations and all involved parameters were measured. Among others, vitamin C and zinc levels improved. A decreased length and severity of illnesses were also reported in the supplementation group. Further details can be found in the study.
