Summary

The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of quercetin on inflammation induced by Helicobacter pylori, a type of bacteria that causes infection in the stomach. 60 days after oral infection with H. pylori guinea pigs received 200 mg/kg of quercetin daily for 15 days. The results showed that quercetin administration decreased H. pylori infection in the stomach and reduced the inflammatory response. Further details can be found in the study.
