Summary

Curcumin has shown significant regulating effects on immune cells and, thereby, beneficial effects in modulating the immune system, which is involved in inflammations and other chronic diseases. There is a lower incidence of chronic diseases in people from countries where curcumin is consumed. This is due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
